a. Discuss the reproduction in amphibians. 
Ans. Amphibians require both land and water to complete life cycle. For example- frog by hundred of egg once in a safe place in lake or pond. These large clusters of egg are called spawns. The egg hatch into tiny tadpoles. They resemble fish and swim in water. After a few weeks a tadpole begins to develop legs. Tadpoles tails get shorter and shorter until they disappear entirely and tadpoles grow into adult frogs. 

b. Describe the structure of an egg with all its functions. 
Ans. Usually eggs are oval or round in shape. They are of various size most of the eggs have a hard outer shell which protects the growing embryo inside it. With in the ahell there is white thick liquid which has a yellow part in the center. The white part is albumen and the yellow part is called the yolk which provides nutrition to the developing embryo. 

c. Why are most of the reptile eggs eaten by other animals? 
Ans. Most of the reptile do not care for their eggs and leave them to hatch and care for themselves. Hence most of the eggs are eaten by other animals. 

Ans. Insecta like butterfly pass through four stage in their life cycle. Here the young one which hatch out of the eggs looks quite different from the adult insecta. It is called a larva. The larva of butterfly is called caterpillar. The larva feeds and cover it self in a cocoon. This stage is called a pupa finally the pupa burst out of its cocoon and the adult insect comes out.
