Ans. Vitamins keep us healthy and protecting us from various diseases so it is a protective food. There are different types of vitamins :- Vitamins A, B, C, D, E and K . Vitamin D is made in our body with the help of sunlight and Other vitamins we get from food like oranges, carrots, tomatoes, egg and milk are rich sources of vitamins.
Ans. The food that we eat first we chewed with the help of our teeth, it broken down into smaller pieces. The smaller food pieces get mixed with the digestive liquid called saliva, from the mouth the foot passes through a tube called food pipe into the stomach. The stomach secretes digestive juices and the muscles of the stomach help in churning and mixing the food with these juices. And it break down the food into a simpler form. Inside the intestine from the stomach the food goes in to a long coiled tube called small intestine. Then inside wall of the small intestine produce juices that mixed with the food and break down into simpler substances . The liver and pancreas secrete more digestive juices into the small intestine. This juices help in complete digestion of the food.
